Some may flinch at the combination of vodka, coffee liqueur and lemon, but damn: it works.

For 1 cocktail:

• 2 oz. high-quality vodka
• 1 oz. coffee liqueur
  
• ½ oz. fresh lemon juice
• 1 lemon wedge
• 1 really large ice cube
  

Combine ingredients in a old fashioned glass; stir for 5 seconds.
