Tuesday, 11:00pm. L’Appartement, New York City. There has been no hot water or heat since Sunday — the boiler in the apartment building broke. It is freezing cold and we’re pretty mad about the situation. Gravy is shivering. After we took her out for the night, we put an old sweatshirt on her to try to keep her warm since we don’t have doggie clothes (well, she does have some sweet argyle socks).
