Things I Did This Weekend: Summer Lovin’
5 days left. What would you do if you had five days left in New York?
This weekend, we had a little summer get together with some old friends for our last weekend in New York. Chef made pulled pork, we had some snacks, we drank some wine, and we met a sweet little girl named Elysa who came up to see us after a day at the Pride Parade with her dad (not pictured). After the one year anniversary of gay marriage in New York, it’s sad to see that love and civil rights are limited in other states. You can bet that because we’re given the opportunity to make change in Minnesota this year, we’ll be voting “No” on the marriage amendment.
