Sunday, 5:00pm. Uptown, Minneapolis. For reason’s unknown to me, Bastille Day festivities in Minneapolis occurred a day after the real Bastille Day. Blue laws? Because Sundays are normally quiet?
It was 99 degrees here that day and I consumed two “Big Gingers” (2 Gingers whiskey + ginger ale + lime/lemon wedges) but it ended up feeling like six. It wasn’t pretty. At least I ate something: a pork terrine bun from Barbette.
