Music Monday: Food Bands

I love music and I’m subscribed to quite a few music blogs. I’ve been noticing more up and coming bands with food names in addition to the existing and signed food named bands:

• String Cheese Incident (they inspired this post)
• Coldcut
• Vegetarian Meat
• The Sea and Cake
• Cracker
• Smashing Orange
• The Smashing Pumpkins
• Bubbles & Cheesecake
• Bamboo Shoots
• The Lemonheads (like the candy!)

Honorable mentions: Get Him Eat Him, Iron & Wine (technically, wine = grapes = food). There’s gotta be more food bands!

If you’re thinking about starting a band and you need a name, you can always ask Wikipedia for help with the names or this handy band name generator. Food names are preferred, with names like:

• Cheese Wizards
• Orange Cows
• Carrot Ferrets
• Pork Fork
